All throughout Hov has kept cool as a fan -until today! Earlier in his hometown Brooklyn, NY Jay-Z, accompanied by his wife Beyonce, finally sealed the deal on the highly controversial Brooklyn Atlantic Yards project paving the way for the New Jersey Nets to be renamed the Brooklyn Nets. Hov addressed the audience that included some of the state’s biggest players where he gave homage to his friend Notorious B.I.G. As previous speaker Rev. Al Sharpton noted, he grew up watching Jackie Robinson break the color barrier line in the MLB and now his daughters will watch Jay-Z do the same with his investment stake in the Nets who will now reside in his place of birth.
