Seriously, in an interview with MTV News (give credit where credit is due) the Painster told Shaheem Reid that rappers and singers jacking his style may want to take a note from Diddy, who actually gave him points on his new record; he may now think about charging others for the same: "Diddy actually gave me royalties on this album just for using Auto-Tune. He signed the contract and everything. If I can do that with Diddy, somebody else better be signing something. It's Diddy. He didn't have to involve me at all. � I'm writing and producing on his album, and he gave me extra royalties on top of that for using something I just brought back."

Hosea Thomas, whose sibling Padron Thomas was allegedly the driver of the van that exchanged shots with TIP's on that fateful night, says his brother was angered after he was hit with a bottle inside Cincinnati's Club Ritz and later chased the rapper's van, firing a number of shots and hitting others inside the van, including the fatal shots that killed Johnson. Prosecutors have stated the case comes down to one thing: witness testimony.

Last week, band member ?uestlove was depicted in a video clip saying: "I don't know if I want to be 40, on the road and single no more. And with the kids my group is now getting older...it's harder for the guys to leave more than it was when the kids were 2 and 3. And I can't even start to go on that path till a woman takes me seriously. And ain't no one taking a man serious who is in his own home for only three months out the year. I been in my crib since 2006 and I still ain't unpacked everything yet." ?uest went on to say he was excited about his new home at the Jimmy Fallon show and seeing his name alongside "SNL cats."

Other notables T.I., Ne-Yo and Lil' Wayne continue to make heavy noise on the charts.

And be aware that the dogs of Afghanistan have found the flesh of your soldiers to be delicious, so send thousands after thousands to them." The video also includes still photographs of Malcolm X and footage of the fallen civil rights leader comparing the "field negro" to the "house negro." In the clip Obama, Malcolm X, Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell are also referred to as "house negroes."

Knight filed a suit against Kanye West last week, who was holding the pre-VMA party where all hell broke loose; in new court documents, Suge says Miami police are responsible for him misplacing one of the studs as he was transferred to and from a number of facilities after the shooting.

<a href="http://www.udubnews.com/article.php?id=723"><img src="http://www.udubnews.com/pictures/politricks_others/723.jpg" align="left" border="0" /></a>Lawyers for King of Pop Michael Jackson say their client's too ill to travel to London to answer charges he stiffed an Arab sheik. The suit alleges Sheik Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa fronted $7 million dollars for an album, autobiography and a play, and that Jackson backed out shortly after recording started on the album. Jackson's legal eagles are suggesting their client testify via video satellite: "It would be unwise for him to travel, given what's he's got now." Khalifa's lawyers say Jackson's "sick note' is up for debate: "It's not the first time a sick note has been presented by Mr. Jackson."
